About State College Veterinary Hospital

State College Veterinary Hospital in State College, PA is a full service veterinary hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical, dental, and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. The hospital was established and operated by Dr. Charlie Myers until Dr. Kathleen Kocher purchased the veterinary hospital in 1988. After an extensive gut and remodel, we had a grand re-opening in September 2014!

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine, dentistry and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

If you have just adopted a pet from a shelter, we will do a full first exam at no charge! And while we LOVE new puppies and kittens, senior pets hold a special place in our hearts too. We are very proud of our complete remodel, which allows us to bring our radiology, ultrasound room, treatment triage, surgical and dental suites, and beautiful boarding kennels to serve you to the best of our abilities. We stock prescription diets, a full pharmacy and flea and tick products.
