We will update this page frequently, and would love to hear your ideas on links that you would like to see us add to this page to share with other pet owners.

Centre County Paws - Check out Centre County Paws if you are looking for a new family member.  Paws is a local non-kill animal shelter that can help your find the perfect pet of any age or breed.

The American Kennel Club - This club specializes in helping to advance canine health and well-being, work to protect the rights of all dog owners and promote responsible dog ownership. The AKC can give you information on different breeds that would work best for your family.

The Mount Nittany Dog Training Club offers local classes for obedience lessons and puppy training.  They also offer agility classes that teaches dogs through a series of obstacles, which include tunnels and jumps.  Classes are held in the club's training building at Penn State's Ag Progress Days grounds off Rt. 45 in Rock Springs, PA.

The ASPCA has a great website to give owners information not only on cruelty to animals, but at ASPCA PRO you can access information such as spay/neuters, Animal Poison Control  and how to choose the right animal for your household.  

Heartworm Society - Everything you ever wanted to know about heartworm disease can be found here!

Companion Animal Parasite Council provides pet owners with information about how to prevent your animal from getting parsites that could be passed to other members of your family including your children.

Cornell University offers lots of resources for pet owners including consulations for medical and behavioral issues. 

Obesity effects many campanion animals, check out the following website that has helpful tips on how to exercise with your dog. 

DoodyPro is Central Pennsylvania's Professional Dog Waste Clean Up Service.  Providing weekly, 2x weekly, biweekly, and 1x cleanings for most of Centre County, and Tyrone of Blair County.

National Animal Poison Control Center - This is the website of the National Animal Poison Control Center. It includes a library, links to other sites, and phone numbers for the poison control center.

Veterinary Schools in the US  - This is a great link to all of the websites of veterinary schools in the United States.

USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service - The USDA maintains this website with information on a variety of animal health related topics, including the latest news on such things as Mad Cow Diseases, foot and mouth disease, and many other things.

Rainbow Bridge - Anyone who has ever lost a pet should visit this wonderful site. It is a terrific tribute to our lost family members.

American Veterinary Medical Association - This site is a good starting point to learn more about a variety of topics, including feline injection-site sarcomas and the latest subjects in veterinary medicine.

Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association offers information about animal welfare in the state of Pennsylvania. 

Stonefence Farm is a full service English horse boarding and hunter/jumper lesson farm located 10 minutes past Boalsburg off route 322.  Stonefence Farm is run and operated by Kerry Kocher.
